The Promised Land (Hebrew: הארץ המובטחת, translit.: Ha'Aretz HaMuvtahat; Arabic: أرض الميعاد, translit.: Ard Al-Mi'ad) is the land promised or given by God, according to the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible), to the descendants of Abraham.

Claire: When you were in the Corps, you had hair… and youth and stamina.
Russell: Get in here and warm me up, woman, and I’ll show you stamina.

Dinah: You guys are too old to kiss.

Claire: No.
Russell: You get the bucket, I’ll get the hose.
