It is hard to have patience with people who say "There is no death" or "Death doesn't matter." There is death. And whatever is matters. And whatever happens has consequences, and it and they are irrevocable and irreversible. You might as well say that birth doesn't matter.

The speaker has little patience for anyone who plays down death, whether by denying it or calling it unimportant. In their view death is real, everything that happens carries consequences, and those consequences cannot be undone or reversed. Dismissing death, they suggest, is as absurd as saying birth counts for nothing.
