Irish Blessing
Walls for the wind, a roof for the rain and tea beside the fire. Laughter to cheer you, those you love near you and all that your heart might desire.
Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
This blessing wishes a person shelter from wind and rain, warmth and tea by the fire, and laughter for cheer. It adds loved ones nearby and the fulfilment of heartfelt wishes. The picture of well-being is simple and homely, built from comfort, company and contentment.
