In Rhythm of War chapter 80, Wit tells Kaladin the story of the dog and the dragon within a nightmare. This short promise belongs to the comfort he offers after the tale, acknowledging the return of darkness without treating it as permanent. The card uses the brief reassurance rather than reproducing his longer explanation.
