Evil is a point of view. God kills indiscriminately and so shall we. For no creatures under God are as we are, none so like him as ourselves.

Behind the line

What it means

Our interpretation.

The speaker argues that evil depends on where one stands, then points to a God who kills without discrimination as justification for doing likewise. The speaker's kind, in this view, resemble the divine more than any other creature does. It is a chilling piece of self-flattering moral relativism, framing slaughter as imitation of godhood.
