Smecker is exaggerating wildly about a shootout in a quiet, wholesome neighbourhood. Comparing it to a bomb and Armageddon makes a few seconds of gunfire sound apocalyptic. The 'Beaver Cleaverville' jab adds mockery of how ordinary the place normally is.
