Spoilers for Borderlands 2
What it means
Our interpretation.
Torgue puts respectful behaviour into the same loud vocabulary he uses for explosions and toughness. The joke works because the delivery stays emphatic while the advice is considerate. His declaration makes care for another person compatible with, rather than opposed to, his idea of strength.
