What it means
Our interpretation.
Stilgar interprets every apparent contradiction as further confirmation. His certainty is both comic in the moment and ominous as Paul acquires power through belief.

Stilgar repeatedly proclaims Paul the Lisan al-Gaib in Dune: Part Two, reading his actions as fulfilments of Fremen prophecy. His fervent certainty gives the film’s title of an off-world messiah its reaction-meme life. The term originates in the novel; this page credits the film’s repeated exclamation rather than claiming the film invented it.
