Thought is real. Physical is the illusion. Ironic, huh?

Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
The speaker turns common sense upside down, claiming that mind and thought are what truly exist while the material world is the illusion. The closing 'Ironic, huh?' invites a wry smile at the reversal, since we usually treat solid things as real and ideas as insubstantial.
