I've always wanted to make love to an angry welder. I've dreamed of nothing else since I was a small boy.

Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
The speaker claims an unusually specific sexual wish and exaggerates its importance by describing it as a lifelong dream. The insistence on having wanted nothing else stretches the confession into comic excess. One reading hears teasing hyperbole in the extravagant precision of this supposed ambition.
