Even for an actor, you're an egomaniac!

Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
The speaker accuses someone of exceptional vanity while also taking a swipe at actors generally. Even within a profession the speaker presents as self-absorbed, this person supposedly stands out. The insult works twice: it attacks the individual and invokes an unflattering stereotype about their profession.
