Keep your distance, though, Chewie, but don't look like you're trying to keep your distance. I don't know. Fly casual.
Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
The instruction asks for distance without making that distance look deliberate. The speaker struggles to explain how to achieve both aims, finally settling on flying casually. The humour comes from trying to make a carefully controlled manoeuvre appear entirely unplanned.
