License and registration... chicken fucker!
Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
Farva is the unit's designated embarrassment: loud, needy and desperate to be one of the guys, and this is his attempt to join the troopers' running game. It works as a joke because the setup is a cop's most official sentence, and Farva turns it into a bet. Quoted since 2001 by anyone mimicking a traffic stop, it remains one of the film's best-known lines, and the "chicken fucker" punch line is the whole point.

Spoilers for Super TroopersShow the scene
In Super Troopers (2001), the Broken Lizard comedy about Vermont state troopers who prank motorists instead of policing them, Rod Farva has been reinstated to road patrol and partnered with the exasperated Thorny. Farva has heard about the troopers' meow game, in which they work a silly word into a traffic stop and is desperate to play. He ignores Thorny's warnings and declares he will call the driver a chicken-fucker for twenty bucks. Voices around him tell him, easy, Rod. Farva then pulls a car over and opens with his demand for the license and registration, followed by the insult he promised.
