Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
A candid remark admitting that the other's behaviour can cause discomfort or shame. The word 'sometimes' softens the complaint, suggesting an occasional embarrassment rather than a constant one, so the tone can read as rueful exasperation rather than outright condemnation.
