Shit... I'm waiting for the sun to shine.

Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
After a curse and a pause, the speaker says they are simply waiting for sunshine. It can be read literally, as waiting out gloomy weather, or as hope for a brighter turn in life. The blunt phrasing gives the wish a seemingly weary, patient edge.
