Molly sure knew what she was doin' when she made the room red. The blood don't show.
Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
The speaker jokes that Molly knew exactly what she was doing by choosing red for the room, because blood would not show against it. The humour is dark and wry, implying the room may see violence and praising the decorator's grim practicality.
