A whole human life is just a heartbeat here in Heaven. Then we’ll all be together forever.

Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
A consoling picture of time in the afterlife. A whole human lifespan shrinks to a single heartbeat there, so being apart feels brief, with reunion and "forever" waiting afterwards. The comfort comes entirely from the shift in scale.
