Prospero: my library Was dukedom large enough
Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
Prospero says his books were enough of a kingdom for him. Learning outweighed ruling, so a whole dukedom felt no larger than his shelves. It's a love of reading stated as a matter of priorities.
