The Doctor’s recorded message gives Sally Sparrow a stark rule for surviving the Weeping Angels. Looking away, even for a blink, gives them their chance to move. Its two words are memorable because such an ordinary action suddenly becomes dangerous. This is the short opening sentence from the longer warning in the 2007 episode Blink, within the revived television series that began in 2005.
