The three short laws reveal the new nation's priorities and the tensions among them: survival, restraint towards outsiders, and obligations to its living home. They sound simple enough to remember. A society still has to decide how to live with what each command demands.

House of X #6 (2019) records the first laws adopted by Krakoa's Quiet Council. The three commands appear together in a data page: make more mutants, murder no man, and respect the sacred land. They are a collective legal statement, rather than dialogue assigned to one councillor. Their order and the wording ‘Murder no man’ are retained here.
