Somebody's gonna have to go back and get a shitload of dimes!

— Blazing Saddles • 1974

Behind the line

What it means

Our interpretation.

The speaker announces, with crude emphasis, that someone will need to return and fetch an enormous quantity of dimes. The exaggeration of "a shitload" of such small coins makes the errand sound tedious and absurd, and the vague "somebody" leaves the chore to whoever gets stuck with it.
