Metatron acts as the voice of God. Any documented occasion when some yahoo claims God has spoken to them, they’re speaking to me. Or they’re talking to themselves.

Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
Metatron claims to be the voice behind any divine message. Anyone who says God spoke to them was either hearing Metatron or hearing themselves. It's a dry, sceptical joke about how people explain mysterious voices.
