Looks like meat's back on the menu, boys!
Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
The cheerful language of a menu makes the camp’s brutality feel routine. Outside the scene, the announcement survives as a grotesquely enthusiastic welcome for something returning.

In The Two Towers, Uglúk delivers this announcement after killing an Orc who threatens the captive hobbits. The Uruk-hai camp turns immediately toward a grisly meal. The card credits Uglúk rather than the Orc who precipitates the confrontation.
