I am the Bad Wolf. I create myself.

Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
It is the series-1 payoff: a phrase planted in graffiti, adverts and a TV channel name all season turns out to be Rose's own doing, a loop that explains itself. Fans love it for the nerve of its logic and the way an ordinary shop girl briefly becomes the most powerful being in the story. Bad Wolf became the series' running emblem, from fan art to the name of a studio.

Spoilers for Doctor WhoShow the scene
In "The Parting of the Ways" (series 1, episode 13, 2005), Daleks are tearing through Satellite Five, the Game Station, in the year 200,100. Rose, whom the Doctor has sent home in the TARDIS, has opened the TARDIS console and looked into the heart of the ship. She materialises in the control room glowing with the time vortex and declares she is the Bad Wolf. She explains that she scattered those two words through time and space to lead herself to this moment. She then waves a hand and the Dalek Emperor and his fleet are destroyed.
