I hate when people say old school when all they mean is inefficient and rude.

Here's a gripe about a flattering label. Calling something old school makes it sound classic and principled, but the speaker says people often use it to excuse plain inefficiency and bad manners. Tradition gets used as a costume for behavior that's simply annoying.
