Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
It is the perfect lawyer-ad slogan: three words, a phone-number rhythm, and a promise that any mess has a fixer. Inside the show it marks the moment Walt gains a consigliere who will make the whole operation possible. Out in the world it became everyday shorthand for any dodgy predicament, and it was strong enough to name a whole spin-off.

Spoilers for Breaking BadShow the scene
Saul Goodman first appears in Breaking Bad's second-season episode "Better Call Saul" (2009, written by Peter Gould). After Badger is arrested, Walt and Jesse go looking for a lawyer and land on Saul, whose slogan is plastered on a bus-stop bench and shown in his TV commercial. The line is also the last thing said in the episode: after Saul makes himself Walt's adviser in the meth trade, he signs off with the slogan, as an invitation to call him if Walt wants to keep more of what he makes. The title of the episode is the slogan, and it later gave the prequel series its name.
