Our interpretation.
Han answers Leia’s declaration of love with a short assurance before they are separated. The response holds affection inside his familiar confidence rather than giving it a matching speech. Lucasfilm’s account identifies this reply, its speaker and the carbon-freezing scene in the 1980 film.

Spoilers for Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes BackShow the scene
Vader decides to test Cloud City's carbon-freezing chamber on Han before using it on Luke, and Han is taken into the chamber with Leia, Chewbacca and Lando there. He kisses Leia, she tells him she loves him, and this is his reply before he is frozen in carbonite. The script gave him a different line; "I know" came out of Harrison Ford's discussions with director Irvin Kershner between takes.
