What it means
Our interpretation.
Success brings the fear that it has been obtained under false pretences. The imagined discovery can feel imminent even when achievement is real. Naming this as an early problem of success makes the feeling recognisable, exposing the gap between what someone has done and what they can comfortably believe about themselves.
