Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
A burst of heartfelt relief, mixing exasperated prayer with an irreverent oath. The speaker greets whatever has just occurred as a huge weight lifted, and the profane emphasis on 'bloody Christ' makes the gratitude feel loud, unfiltered and more theatrical than solemn.
