Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
Three syllables of pure leering, delivered in a lowered, dopey voice that tells you the character is delighted with himself and nobody else is. It is Quagmire's whole personality in a word, which is why the show can drop it into any scene for a laugh. Outside the show it became a catchall comic leer, used online whenever someone makes an innuendo and wants to own it.

Spoilers for Family GuyShow the scene
Glenn Quagmire, the Griffins' sex-obsessed neighbour and an airline pilot, punctuates every leer with a sing-song "giggity". This fuller version turns up in "Love, Blactually" (season 7, episode 1, first aired 28 September 2008), when he knocks on Loretta's hotel-room door with a mock room-service pitch and finishes it with the cry. It is not the only use of the word in the show: Quagmire sings it in the closing line of his spoof talk-show theme, and a full song, "That's Why I Say Giggity", appears in "Viewer DMs". Seth MacFarlane voices him.
