Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
It is the villain's shout of triumph from a one-year-old who has just won back a toy, and the gap between the grand vow and the tiny victory is the whole joke. Stewie turns it on every scheme he launches, usually with the plan collapsing seconds later, so fans reach for it whenever a small win is announced like a conquest.

Spoilers for Family GuyShow the scene
In "Death Has a Shadow", the first episode of Family Guy (it aired on 31 January 1999, after Super Bowl XXXIII), baby Stewie is finishing his mind-control device when Lois confiscates it as a toy that does not belong at the dinner table. Later he squares up to her, warns that her life is a box of live grenades, and demands the device back or else. Lois simply hands it over, and Stewie crows the line, dashes into another room and sets off an explosion. Seth MacFarlane wrote the episode and voices Stewie.
