When the Scouts finally reach the ocean, most of them celebrate a place they knew only from books. Eren instead points across it and asks whether killing their enemies will bring freedom. Chapter 90 becomes episode 59; the subtitle pauses are retained here, while some translations use “destroy” instead of “kill.”
