Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void.
— Jujutsu Kaisen · 2020
Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
Gojo's domain is a finishing move for the whole genre: the strongest sorcerer speaks the words and the fight is over. Fans treat the name as a cheat code and the hand sign as a meme, and it is the series' most-quoted technique name. Its later defeat by Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine only makes this first use feel more invincible.

Spoilers for Jujutsu KaisenShow the scene
In episode 7 of Jujutsu Kaisen, "Assault" (14 November 2020), the special-grade curse Jogo ambushes Satoru Gojo on a road, and Gojo explains to Yuji that the best answer to a Domain Expansion is another domain. When Jogo attacks, Gojo activates Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void, trapping him in a space that feeds him all the information in the universe at once, so he is paralysed. Gojo decapitates the trapped curse, then Hanami's flowers interrupt before he can question Jogo. This is the technique's first anime appearance.
