Behind the line
What it means
Our interpretation.
Corazon gives Law a memory of being loved rather than another lesson in cruelty. The smile is deliberate care for the child who will have to survive him.

Spoilers for One PieceShow the scene
Before hiding Law in a treasure chest on Minion Island, Corazon gives him a broad smile and tells him he loves him. His silence power then protects Law’s escape while Doflamingo confronts him. Chapter 767 is adapted in episode 706, not episode 705; the archived subtitles separate “Hey, Law” from “I love you,” while fans often quote the shorter direct address on this card.
