At the Foosha Village tavern, Shanks laughs off Higuma’s humiliation of him. The limit comes when the bandits endanger Luffy: insults to Shanks are tolerable, but hurting his friend is not. Episode 4 adapts chapter 1; this is the familiar fan translation, with “spill drinks” and “sprayed with alcohol” among other English versions.
