Miles rattles off two wildly mismatched sources of panic in the same breath, an ordinary school exam and an absurd, dangerous pursuit, treating them with equal exasperation. The comic effect comes from that flat equivalence, mundane academic stress placed right alongside a genuinely alarming chase.
