Giorno Giovanna

My name is Giorno Giovanna, and I have a dream.

— JoJo's Bizarre Adventure  ·  2012

Behind the line

What it means

Our interpretation.

A teenage thief with a wrecked childhood announces an ambition that sounds like a mafia boss's vow and a hero's at once. The line sums up Part 5: Giorno wants to rise through the underworld in order to clean it. It carries a quiet confidence, which is why fans quote it as a mission statement for any big plan.
