What it means
Our interpretation.
The attack’s grand announcement makes its reversal memorable. Fans reuse that misplaced certainty as the setup for a trap of their own.

Spoilers for JoJo's Bizarre AdventureShow the scene
Dire launches his supposedly inescapable crossed-limb attack at Dio during Phantom Blood’s final confrontation. Dio counters it, turning Dire’s confidence into the scene’s cruel joke. Chapter 38 becomes episode 8; the meme often adds “You fell for it, fool,” while the English dub transcription uses “I’ve caught you, fool” before the same attack name.
