I may be a pretty shitty boyfriend, but turns out I'm actually a pretty damn good babysitter.

Behind the line

What it means

Our interpretation.

It is Steve's graduation from the season-one jock: a boy who has lost the girl and knows it, but turns his pride into a joke and takes the job nobody asked him to do. The 'babysitter' label stuck, and fans use it for Steve's whole later role as the group's reluctant guardian.
