Our interpretation.
The line is Ash's whole attitude: a cocky department-store clerk who has fought an army of the dead and now treats one more demon like a customer who will not leave. It sits in the theatrical S-Mart ending, and fans lean on it as a taunt for any fight they are keen to have, from boss battles to arguments.

Army of Darkness (1992, released in the US in February 1993). Ash is back in the present, working in the housewares department of S-Mart and retelling his medieval adventure to his co-workers. Because he fumbled the magic words once again, a Deadite is still loose and possesses a customer. Ash tells her to leave the store and gives his name and department. When she promises to swallow his soul, he invites her to try, and shoots her. He follows with "Hail to the king, baby" and a kiss for his co-worker.
