Our interpretation.
Ash is a medieval action hero who still thinks like a floor clerk, and the slogan is how the film says so: with the dead rising, he is still selling the product. Fans use it as a joke about brand loyalty, and S-Mart became the franchise's in-joke store, the place where the chainsaw-handed hero worked and where his shotgun came from.

Sam Raimi's 1992 Army of Darkness opens on Ash, the hero of the first two Evil Dead films, dragged into the year 1300 AD. His narration flashes back to his old job at the S-Mart department store, hardware aisle twelve, where the slogan first comes up. He says it again once he has fought his way out of the pit: facing Arthur's men in the castle courtyard, Ash raises his shotgun, his "boomstick", reads out its make, price and S-Mart department like a salesman, and ends on the slogan and a bellowed "You got that?" The film returns to S-Mart for its ending, where Ash shoots one last Deadite.
