It's Jesse's comic comeback to a Walt who is already acting the boss: the nerdiest old man he knows did the begging, not him. It marks the early power balance in their partnership, with Jesse the funny, hurt one in the room, and it is the quotable line fans use whenever a mentor blames someone for a plan he started himself. The diaper-wearing granny and the RV make it one of the show's best insult-comedy moments.

In "Cat's in the Bag..." (Season 1, episode 2, aired 27 January 2008, written by Vince Gilligan), Walt and Jesse have brought the unconscious dealer Krazy-8 back to Jesse's house and chained him to a pole in the basement by a bicycle lock round his neck. With a body to dispose of and a coin toss to decide who must kill the survivor, they argue about whose fault it is. Walt says Jesse brought those men out there, so it is his responsibility. Jesse fires back with this sarcastic reply about how the partnership began.
