Our interpretation.
It is the first time we see Walt break, and the funniest: after years of being pushed around, the mild teacher hurls an absurdly specific insult, the eyebrows, at a boss who has never seen him angry. Fans quote it as the moment Walt stops being polite, the sign that something dangerous has been unlocked. The eyebrows are the joke; the quitting is what it sets in motion.

In the Pilot (aired 20 January 2008, written and directed by Vince Gilligan), high school chemistry teacher Walter White works a second job at the A1A Car Wash, under a boss, Bogdan Wolynetz, who keeps treating him as a spare pair of hands. After a cancer diagnosis, Walt is told to go outside and do wipe-downs. He answers with this curse, then repeats it to Bogdan's face when asked to say it again. It leads straight to his storming out and wrecking the place.
